Morningstar® Integrated Web Tools

Morningstar® Integrated Web Tools offers two tools that can help you meet your retirement goals.

Portfolio Planner is a simple but powerful tool that guides you through the process of creating a portfolio, appropriate for your risk tolerance, in just five quick steps. First, select whether you’d like to invest in an age-based portfolio or build your own portfolio, then learn about investment risk and what amount of risk is suitable for your portfolio. Next, you can allocate your holdings, view the composition of your securities, and generate printable reports for your records. You can use this printable output for reference when you log into Fidelity NetBenefits.

Dig below the surface to evaluate your portfolio’s aggregate characteristics — all based on the underlying securities in the funds you own. Use the Portfolio Analysis tool to analyze your portfolio’s risk, exposure to different investment sectors and styles, top holdings in individual stocks, and overall strengths and weaknesses. This tool will walk you through the steps of entering your retirement plan holdings into your portfolio. You can also enter holdings outside of the BP lineup to create a complete picture of all of your investments. And printable reports allow you to easily store this information in your records.

Morningstar Investing Classroom

The Investing Classroom offers a wide variety of short online classes ranging from the basics (What are stocks? What is a mutual fund?) to advanced topics like analyzing risk and return and how to build a portfolio.
